This Mother’s Day menu at The Funghi Club begins with a complimentary glass of Crémant on arrival, followed by a choice of elegant starters. Options include chestnut mushroom and tarragon soup, prawn and crayfish cocktail, citrus-cured Scottish salmon, chicken liver and cognac parfait, and a savoury Camembert crème brûlée.

For mains, all dishes are served with seasonal vegetables. Guests can choose from rolled roast shin of beef with dauphinoise potatoes, roasted corn-fed chicken with lemon and thyme stuffing, pressed lamb leg with ratatouille and feta, grilled sea bass with Lyonnaise potatoes, or a salt-baked celeriac with shiitake mushrooms and truffle butter.

Desserts feature classic French favourites such as vanilla crème brûlée, dark chocolate mousse, tarte Tatin, pear Bourdaloue tart, and a mango cheesecake with passion fruit glaze, followed by coffee and petit fours.
